The Soap Opera’s Patchouli Essential Oil is 100% pure and comes in a 15ml glass bottle. A favorite of many, patchouli oil has an earthy, musky scent that is widely used in incense and as a base note in fragrances. Like a fine wine, patchouli oil is considered to improve with age. Eucalyptus essential oil is highly effective for helping ease the symptoms of respiratory problems such as asthma, bronchitis, COPD, pneumonia, or even tuberculosis. You can diffuse it into a room to help control some of these respiratory issues or even when sick to help you breath.  It also works fantastic on sore muscles so it’s wonderful to put into a lotion to massage oil.

Rosemary Essential Oil has long been believed to contribute to hair growth. When rubbed into the scalp, Rosemary Essential Oil increases blood circulation, which can help stimulate hair growth. Many people also claim that it can prevent baldness, slows graying, and can be used to treat dandruff and dry scalp. Rosemary Essential Oil has a strong, fresh camphor-like scent with woody-balsamic undertones, making it great as a middle note in perfume.

The Soap Opera’s Four Thieves Essential Oil Blend is made from a rich and spicy blend of Clove, Eucalyptus, Rosemary, and Cinnamon. Why “Four Thieves”? The name comes from a story by the same name that takes place during the time the Black Plague swept over Europe. As people began to succumb to the plague, four spice traders decided that it would be more profitable to loot the homes and bodies of the victims than to stick with their day jobs. They believed that so long as they breathed in certain spices, they would be protected from the miasma of illness and could loot to their heart’s content. They were largely successful, until the king had them captured and kindly offered to not burn them at the stake if they shared their secret blend of herbs and spices, of which they promptly divulged.

In modern aromatherapy, the Four Thieves blend is commonly used to kill airborne bacteria and to stimulate the immune system. Putting a few drops into a diffuser can also help those who are suffering from congestion and respiratory issues breathe freely. Its warm, spicy aroma is also useful for covering foul odors.
