The Magno Bath and Shower Gel contains salts and minerals from the abled therapeutic hot springs of La Toja in Galicia, the Celtic area in Northwest Spain. The super rich formula has been a favorite in Spain for many years because of its creamy consistancy and delicate fragrance. This black bath gel produces a dense white lather that will foam in hard or soft water – and even in sea water. The combination of soothing glycerine and lanolin leaves skin feeling soft and clean. La Toja is named after the tiny island off Galcia where the company was founded. The mineral springs there were said to have healing powers and La Toja began making soap from the spa’s mineral salts in the early 20th century. When the 50’s came around, Spain entered fully into the era of the image. Cosmetic and perfume manufacturers began to sell magic and glamour in a bottle. La Toja responded with the creation of Magno, the first black soap that produced a white-as-snow foam. The exotic scent and quality of the soap made it universally loved and popular even to this day.
