Our genuine "Yellow Massage Sponge" is a true sea sponge and comes from a
small family business in Florida where the sponges are cultivated in a
protected bay, and harvested by hand using a simple row boat. These
sponges hold so much water that when used in the tub you can shower water
over yourself, and in the shower itself nothing makes more lather than a
real sea sponge. Soft and durable, these sea sponges the classic bathing
tool used since ancient times. Our sponges are 100% natural,
hypo-allergenic, very absorbent, very durable and above all, natural sea
sponges do not retain harmful bacteria.
Please note: Our true sea sponges are not the extra soft "sea silk"
sponges. Ours have some texture, and even after they are wet, although
they do get very soft, they continue to have some substance, though no one
would call them rough. Ours are just not extremely silky in feel as are
some very special and unusual "sea silk" sponges tend to be.
