The Maja we stock is made in Mexico. It is our understanding that Maja has several factories around the world. The factory that serves the US is in Mexico. That is why we carry only Maja soap manufactured in Mexico. We have also been told that the factory in Spain serves only Europe. Finally, the Maja company tells us that all their factories worldwide use exactly the same ingredients, formulas, processes, and even machines, and that there should be no perceptible difference between products manufactured in different countries. Naturally, as in all things, some people may find they disagree.
