Our Macedonia soap was named after the famous Greek fruit salad due its appearance and fragrance.

Macedonia was the birthplace of Alexander the Great, the King of Macedonia and conqueror of the Persian Empire. Alexander was son of King Philip II of Macedonia and Olympias, the princess of neighboring Epirus. Considered one of the greatest military geniuses of all times, Alexander the Great became the inspiration for later conquerors such as Hannibal the Carthaginian, Pompey and Caesar, and even Napoleon.

In the 4th century BC, when Alexander the Great conquered the entire Persian Empire, he made Macedonia into the largest world empire of the age stretching from Europe to India. For the next three centuries the Macedonians ruled most of this vast area, until the time of Cleopatra who, in 30 BC, became the last Macedonian ruler of Egypt.

Nothing like it! A colorful blend of hardmilled and glycerine soap (chunks of opaque soap set into a transparent bar) with sea salts and a hypnotizing coconut and tropical fruit fragrance. Great in hard water, lathers like crazy. Set of 3 Bars.
