Description:
Dudu-Osun is the traditional African black soap handmade from pure, natural ingredients including herbs from the tropical rain forests and savannah regions. Its dark, rather brown and uneven color comes from Osun or Camwood, also known as African Sandalwood. It contains pure honey, shea butter, palm oil, glycerin, aloe vera, lime and lemon juice. This soap has gained a lot of followers outside Africa thanks to its outstanding moisturizing properties and slightly earthy yet very fresh scent. With no artificial colors and preservatives, this bar is the closest you can get to nature in your shower. Net wt. 150 gr (5.3 oz.
Our most difficult to find soap, and our only African Soap; made in Nigeria from the Tropical Rain Forest including Osun (camwood extract) and citrus juices, native honey and high unsap shea butter, aloe vera and natural vitamins. Suits all skin types, nourishes healthy skin, and maintains toned skins. Well known to travelers to Africa, and takes you there while feeling right at home. 150 gr. rusticated cakes. PLEASE NOTE: The boxes are sometimes -- usually -- dented, and the soaps inside always look like they were run over!! There is nothing we can do about this since they are handmade under less than ideal conditions - probably on very old machinery. Some people think their unusualness adds to their charm -- boxes and soap -- and certainly no matter what one thinks the soap is fine in use.
To press on, and to be absolutely frank, I don't believe we have a single box that is 100% perfect if one is using the most scrupulous of standards.
First I want to say I enjoy the Soap Opera now as much as when I lived in
Madison in the early 70s.
